Very Easy Basic Cozy Cap

by Helen Flagg
(Houston, Texas, U.S.A.)

I found a truly easy knitted beanie cap pattern
on Beverly A. Qualheim's website. She has given
permission for this copyrighted pattern to be used
for charity purposes. The link is:
http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/bevsbasichat.html
The pattern gives sizes for both children
and teen/adult. The pattern calls for a pompom on
top, but for mailing/weight/postage rate reasons,
this may be omitted.
I made this in Wool Ease with a double strand and
found it to be almost too heavy. Also made it in
worsted weight acrylic, which is a nice weight but not
sure how warm it will be.
There is a photo of the beanie cap on the website.
