I am knitting with 12ply yarn made up from triple 4ply, using size 6 needles and 30 stitches per row. This makes very thick squares which might not mix well with finer examples. I would like to knit enough for 1 blanket.
I suggest 45 squares, i.e. 5x9, minimum? Advise please.
