I have made those corrections on your original pattern Marylin. It is a great looking Beanie nad I hope everyone will give it a go.

Well I must have been sleeping when I wrote this you cast on 72 stitches (not 27) and after the 10rows of k2,p1 you add nine sitches for a total of 81 stiches. My apologies for these error guess my proof reading needs to be honed.
