Knitted hearts

Simple but very effective and works for any weight yarn. Get a piece of graphing paper and draw a heart using X's! Any style, any shape will do. Never mind different colours, just purl the design on the knit side and knit on the purl side. Try to centre it vertically although that's hard for me on the first square!
