Plastic bags that can hold the squares and then have the air sucked out by a vaccum cleaner are for sale at WalMart. Two medium size bags are about $6. I think this would work well to ship squares, but our group doesn't have the money for this, so I took a gallon zip lock bag and put in 12 squares, put a heavy book on top, kneeled on the book and then zipped it closed. I also taped the ziplock bag shut. It is now about 2 1/2 in. thick by
8 1/2 by 8 1/2 in. I'll put several of these in a box and send it off. In the US there is one size box that costs a flat fee - not by weight - so the more we can stuff in the better.
